Research conducted at the University of Georgia compared Nutrilock® SelenoSure™ with sodium selenite and an OH-Se-Met analog in broilers, with all three sources providing the same 0.3 ppm of added selenium.
At Day 21, birds fed SelenoSure had significantly greater breast tissue selenium than birds receiving either the OH-Se-Met analog or sodium selenite (P<0.0001), while live performance was statistically equivalent across all three selenium sources.
