Of the 30 published studies (~8mg Cr fed), about a third of the time cows did not significantly increase milk yield, about a third of the time cows increased milk yield 3-6 pounds, and about a third of the time cows increased milk yield greater than 6 pounds. Dry matter intake usually increased concomitantly. Increased milk pays the bills and any improvement in immune function is ‘icing on the cake’.
